Prior to joining Sapphire Ventures, Shatakshi was a part of the Technology Investment Banking group at Jefferies and worked on several M&A, equity and debt transactions across software, internet and semiconductors. Shatakshi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was a William F. Sharpe fellow and a Chancellor’s Service Award recipient. She is a trained classical dancer and in her spare time, enjoys hiking, traveling, being engrossed in a good read and trying new restaurants. She also serves on the board for the SF chapter of Synergist Network, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to empowering female investors in their careers & working towards gender parity in the private equity and venture capital industries.
