Rami is a Partner at Sapphire Ventures, where he focuses on deepening Sapphire’s Israeli ecosystem relationships, strategic corporate and LP and partnerships, Global 2000 corporate development, and various firm initiatives spanning business development, portfolio engagement, and executive talent. In addition, he serves on the boards of Zesty and Verbit, and was a board observer at Mirantis, now part of the IREN family.

Rami joined Sapphire in 2014. Prior to his current role at Sapphire, Rami led the Sapphire Portfolio Growth team for 10 years, building it from the ground up with a mission to help portfolio companies scale. Under his leadership, the team grew to support portfolio founders across business development, talent, revenue, and engineering excellence, consistently achieving a portfolio CEO NPS exceeding 80+.

Earlier in his career, Rami served as CEO of Numenta, an AI innovator. Previous to that, he served as Managing Director of SAP Labs North America, and SVP of Global Software Partnership for the company. He also held field and product leadership roles at TopTier Software, prior to its acquisition by SAP.

Rami holds a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and an MBA in information systems and finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
