Anders is a Partner at Sapphire Ventures where he focuses on next-generation enterprise infrastructure, data management, and cyber security solutions, as well as the intersection of autonomy, robotics, and disruptive technologies. 

He has worked on more than a dozen investments in his career and currently sits on the boards of seven companies. As a strategic partner to his investments, he has been instrumental in helping numerous companies with their exit strategies.  

Prior to joining Sapphire Ventures in 2012, Anders was a product management and strategy executive at SAP for 12 years. While at SAP, he worked closely on emerging technologies in data and analytics, application middleware, and the acquisition of Business Objects and Sybase, among others. 

Anders was born in Trondheim, Norway and has lived in Paris, South Dakota, and California. He has an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of South Dakota.
