Annalise is a principal at Sapphire Ventures where she focuses on analyzing new investments and assisting portfolio companies, primarily in Europe and Israel. She is involved in Sapphire’s investments in Adverity, Cazoo, Contentful, Currencycloud, Matillion, Unmind, and Yapily, and worked on the firm’s investment in Wandera (acquired by Jamf). Annalise is based out of London and was named a VC Rising Star by Venture Capital Journal in 2021.

Prior to joining Sapphire, Annalise was an investor at Atomico where she invested in European startups covering the UK market and enterprise sector.  Previously, Annalise worked at LinkedIn in the San Francisco, London and Dublin offices where she contributed to corporate M&A, business operations, sales strategy and product finance. Early on in her career, she spent time at Morgan Stanley in the Technology Investment Banking Group.

Annalise holds a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University, studied abroad at Harbin Institute of Technology in China and earned an MBA from Stanford University, where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar. Her travels started early with a transatlantic flight at just over two months old, and as an adult, she has lived in five countries on three continents and counting.
