Faizan is a Senior Data Engineer at Sapphire with 10 years of experience building scalable, cloud-native data platforms and pipelines.

Previously, Faizan worked at BIT Capital, a Berlin-based investment firm that manages funds investing in technology companies and crypto assets, where he built and operated full-scale data pipelines and established a centralized data layer aggregating fund, market, and alternative datasets, alongside developing internal analysis and visualization tools. Faizan has also held data engineering roles across both startups and public companies, adapting quickly to different team structures and delivery cadences while building production-grade data systems in fast-moving and highly regulated environments.

Faizan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in Pakistan.
