About Annalise
Based out of London, Annalise is a Partner at Sapphire Ventures where she primarily focuses on European and Israeli SaaS companies.
She is on the boards of Matillion and Adverity, and is involved in Sapphire’s investments in Contentful, GitGuardian, Unmind, and Yapily. She also worked on the firm’s investment in Cazoo (NYSE: CZOO), Currencycloud (acquired by Visa), and Wandera (acquired by Jamf). For her work, she was named a VC Rising Star by Venture Capital Journal.
Prior to joining Sapphire, Annalise was an investor at Atomico where she invested in European startups covering the UK market and enterprise sector. Previously, Annalise worked at LinkedIn in the San Francisco, London and Dublin offices where she contributed to corporate M&A, business operations, sales strategy and product finance. Early on in her career, she spent time at Morgan Stanley in the Technology Investment Banking Group.
Annalise holds a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University, studied abroad at Harbin Institute of Technology in China and earned an MBA from Stanford University, where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar. Her travels started early with a transatlantic flight at just over two months old, and as an adult, she has lived in five countries on three continents and counting.
