Ishan Gill focuses on identifying and evaluating growth-stage investment opportunities.

Prior to Sapphire Ventures, Ishan began his career as a private equity analyst at Francisco Partners, evaluating both buyout and growth investments in enterprise software and consumer internet businesses. More recently, he spent time across various operating roles in startups – working as an Operator in Residence at Primary Ventures incubating a software company, and in Strategic Finance at Fanatics Sportsbook.

A Northern California native, Ishan graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Public Policy. Outside of work, he enjoys playing poker, pickup basketball, and attempting to run half marathons.
