Prior to joining Sapphire Ventures, Avery worked at KPMG US LLP where she served private equity and hedge fund clients in the Audit practice. Prior to that, Avery attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas where she received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accountancy. Avery was born in New Orleans but grew up in Houston. Avery moved to Austin in July 2020 and enjoys the Austin restaurant scene, playing pickleball, and spending time on Lake Austin.
