Prior to Sapphire, Edison was a Senior Associate at Standish Management, where he focused on fund accounting for venture capital and private equity funds. He began his career as an Investment Analyst Intern at Pathway Capital Management.

Edison holds an M.S. in Analytics from University of Southern California and a B.A. in Economics from University of California, Irvine, where he graduated with Order of Merit. He also holds the CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate.

Originally from China, Edison trained in mixed martial arts with professional athletes before moving to Southern California for university. He is now based in Austin.
