Scott leads Sapphire Venture’s marketing and communications team, bringing more than 20 years of high-tech marketing experience to the firm.
Scott has held senior roles in a variety of disciplines, resulting in what he describes as the “Swiss Army knife” set of marketing skills. Most recently Scott ran global product marketing for Quantcast where he launched several SaaS products for media companies to better monetize their digital content. Previously Scott was the global lead for high-touch customer programs at Facebook, and relaunched the DoubleClick brand at Google with the introduction of the DoubleClick Digital Marketing suite.
Born downrange from Cape Canaveral, Scott grew up in the Midwest before living in Chicago, San Francisco and London. Scott now lives in Silicon Valley where he enjoys the weather a lot more than London or the Midwest.
Scott earned a Masters of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Medill School at Northwestern University, and a bachelor’s in journalism from Drake University.
